Difficult start at Brands Hatch opener

Difficult start at Brands Hatch opener

Well this weekend hasn’t been the best, Friday had a good day testing getting a feel for the bike and track, Saturday qualifying only managed to qualify 2nd I was on pole for the most of it however I backed off for the last lap as my dad said so that was when Max Lofthouse just pipped me.

Race 1, it was very wet and slippy I was pushing and I came out of Graham Hill bend and got on the throttle a bit to early and it spat me out.😒

Race 2, I was pushing I was in 3rd managed to get in to 2nd then had a big tank slapper and lost my position then on the last lap last corner Rhys irwin got on the gas a little Early than me and got the drive out and to the line so finished 4th in that one

Sunday, big day, TV day, suns out, morning warm up second fastest and felt confident.

Race 3, I was leading on the first lap then I started to drop back I finished in 6th😭😞

Race 4, final race of the weekend best race of the weekend had an amazing battle with kade and Rhys swapping places all the way till the end and on the last lap coming out of clearways I ran wide and Rhys Irwin and Kade Verwey passed me and I had no drive to the line so I finished in 4th, I would like to thank firstly my dad for breaking out of hospital for me😂¬†Also Darren Canes for being the getaway driver and for coming down to watch, Tom Davis for helping with the bike when I had my off on Saturday also Ian Newton, Jimmy, James Folkard and the team for doing my oil changes during the weekend.

Finally, I would like to thank CS Tyres, John Jefferson P&H motorcycles and medics marshals and officials.
